Using walking sticks and canes are excellent ways to support one’s self while walking through the town or out in nature.
At the top of this walking stick is a hand-carved howling wolf that is sitting down. This walking stick measures about 60 inches tall and can be cut shorter if so desired. The staff includes a narrowed-down handle, a leather strap, and a heavy-duty rubber stopper at the base. The picture above is not necessarily the exact stick you will get but it will be very similar. I have carved hundreds of these in each wood has its own unique grains and bark but the carving will be very close to the same.
Wood types used are woods grown from the Ozarks such as hickory, elm, oak, dogwood, hawthorn, persimmon, and others. The wood chosen for shipping depends on the type available at the point of purchase.
